Who rescues whom
If you love animals and/or want to help them, you will immediately learn several phrases that sound like slogans but offer certain guidelines:
Adopt don’t shop.
Fostering saves lives.
Every animal matters.
There’s a home for every dog.
There are no bad dogs, but lots of bad owners.
Don’t eat what you love - explore being vegan. (I’m a vegan, but know food is personal. Investigates and decide for yourself).
Find your local animal rescue or sanctuary and volunteer your time. If you’re too young to be allowed to help in person, explore fundraising. I used to make brownies from a box and hold bake sales in the lobby to give money to a rescue group in NYC. People bought them to support the animals not because I was a great baker.
Love an animal, be loved in return. You will never regret it.
